A school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Drama Teacher to join its Creative Arts team. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students, contribute to the development of the Drama Department, and be part of a supportive and inclusive school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality drama lessons that engage and challenge students of all abilities.
  • Support the school’s mission and ethos by promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the Drama Department through innovative teaching and collaboration with colleagues.
  • Play an active role in the life of the school community, including extracurricular activities and events.
  • Ensure consistent delivery of good achievement and progress for all students.
  • Encourage and support student creativity, confidence, and performance skills.
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and continue professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records and assessments of student progress.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience in teaching drama at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values and ethos.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and leading extracurricular drama activities.
  • Experience with inclusive teaching practices.
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment in drama.
