Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Business to students aged 14-19.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that integrates academic, technical, and vocational learning.
- Collaborate with industry partners to provide students with real-world experiences and insights.
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and preparing for future careers.
- Contribute to the life of the school through extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Participate in professional development and continuous improvement of teaching practices.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Business or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver complex topics in an accessible way.
- Experience working with students aged 14-19 and a commitment to inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on leadership responsibilities.
Preferred
- Experience in a UTC or similar innovative learning environment.
- Familiarity with technical and vocational qualifications.
- Experience with industry or university partnerships.
- Background in developing and delivering curriculum with real-world applications.
