The Opportunity:
A Care and Wellbeing Administrator is needed to support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Team and ensure the highest standards of care and wellbeing for students. This role is vital in maintaining accurate records, managing calendars, and coordinating meetings to support vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate, confidential records in line with regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and manage calendars, meetings, and communications for the DSL Team.
- Ensure all documentation is up to date and compliant with current safeguarding regulations.
- Provide administrative support to ensure the team can respond effectively to student needs.
- Liaise with external agencies and internal teams to support student wellbeing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Support the Care and Wellbeing Director in the day-to-day management of the team.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders, including parents and professionals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in a school or educational setting, preferably within safeguarding or wellbeing.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a busy and emotionally demanding environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other administrative software.
Preferred
- Experience in a special educational needs setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies.
- Experience with managing sensitive information and records.
- Understanding of co-operative values and principles.
- Experience in a multi-academy trust environment.
