Key Responsibilities:

- Support the development of students’ knowledge, skills, and understanding of health and social care principles.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share resources and reduce workload.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities and pastoral care.
- Stay up to date with industry developments and incorporate best practices into teaching.

- Support students in preparing for further education, apprenticeships, or careers in health and social care.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Health and Social Care.
- Experience teaching at the sixth form level or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the values of integrity, curiosity, and leadership.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and take responsibility for student outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience with inclusive teaching strategies and supporting diverse learners.
- Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and digital tools.
- Experience with pastoral care or student support.
- Previous experience in a school trust or multi-academy trust environment.
- Knowledge of health and social care qualifications such as BTEC or A-levels.
