The Opportunity:
As an Exams Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of examinations and assessments across the school. This position is essential to maintaining the high standards of education and leadership that define the school's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of the school’s examination and assessment processes.
- Oversee the accurate input, management, and reporting of data using school MIS software such as Bromcom.
- Ensure the timely and accurate production of reports and assessment data for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update student records and examination results within the school’s database systems.
- Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams to ensure seamless delivery of assessments.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the use of MS Office and other relevant software.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to examinations.
- Work closely with the wider business support team to deliver an outstanding learning environment for students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 9-4/A*-C.
- Proven experience in managing and developing school MIS software such as Bromcom.
- Experience in producing accurate data for reporting and assessment purposes.
- Strong proficiency in using MS Office software packages, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, work efficiently, and meet deadlines under pressure.
Preferred
- Experience in a school or educational setting, particularly within a multi-academy trust.
- Familiarity with leadership and character development programmes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the school community.
