The Opportunity:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Casual IT Technician to join our IT Support team. This role offers the chance to provide proactive IT support to students and staff, while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line IT support to students and staff for hardware and software issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve desktop-related problems efficiently.
• Assist with the installation of industry-standard software and hardware across IT classrooms.
• Configure, maintain, and administer Windows 10/11 operating systems.
• Collaborate with the IT Support team to deploy and support IT systems.
• Ensure IT systems are up-to-date and functioning effectively.
• Assist with the maintenance and troubleshooting of PC and desktop environments.
• Support the implementation of new IT initiatives and improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Windows desktop operating systems.
• Practical problem-solving skills and experience in a technical environment.
• Ability to configure, maintain, and administer Windows 10/11.
• Experience with software installation and hardware setup in IT classrooms.
• Manual handling skills for IT equipment installation.

Preferred

• Experience in IT support or a related field.
• Familiarity with industry-standard IT systems and software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
