As a Casual Theatre Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and operating the technical equipment used in the school’s 600-seat auditorium, The Great Hall. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for technical theatre and the ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain technical theatre equipment to the highest standards.
• Support the delivery of shows, events, and productions in the school’s auditorium.
• Assist with the setup, running, and breakdown of stage and technical elements.
• Collaborate with the venue team to ensure smooth and efficient event operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Keep detailed records of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Follow health and safety protocols at all times.
• Provide support during rehearsals and performances as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Familiarity with technical theatre equipment and systems.
• A keen interest in theatre production and stagecraft.
• Ability to work flexibly across weekdays, weekends, and evenings.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a theatre or events setting.
