The Opportunity:

As Co-Curricular Director, you will lead the design and delivery of a vibrant co-curricular programme that enhances the student experience during the Summer School. This role is central to creating a dynamic, inclusive, and inspiring environment for students aged 8–17 from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, oversee, and deliver a comprehensive co-curricular programme including social events, enrichment sessions, and excursions.
  • Lead and support a team of Activity Leaders to ensure activities are safe, engaging, and aligned with the school’s values.
  • Plan and manage risk-assessed excursions and on-site events that reflect the school’s ethos.
  • Foster a warm, supportive environment that prioritises student wellbeing and personal development.
  • Model professionalism, empathy, and high standards in all interactions with students and staff.
  • Coordinate with academic and pastoral teams to ensure a cohesive student experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of co-curricular activities to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in managing youth, enrichment, or co-curricular programmes.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Commitment to student safety, wellbeing, and inclusivity.
  • Experience in event planning and risk management.

Preferred

  • Background in education or youth work.
  • Experience with international students or multicultural environments.
  • Knowledge of co-curricular programming in a school or residential setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
