The Opportunity:
As an English Language Teacher – Summer School, you will deliver dynamic lessons that enhance students’ communication skills and foster a love for learning. This is a fixed-term role from July to August 2026, ideal for educators passionate about making a difference in a vibrant and international setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to students aged 8–17.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic and personal development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence.
- Integrate British culture and creativity into the curriculum to enhance student engagement.
- Support students pastorally to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
- Collaborate with the academic team to deliver a high-quality summer school programme.
- Participate in co-curricular activities and events that enrich the summer school experience.
- Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all students.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience teaching English to multilingual groups.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to student welfare and pastoral support.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging lesson plans.
Preferred
- Qualifications such as CELTA, QTS, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a boarding or international school setting.
- Familiarity with British culture and education practices.
- Passion for teaching and a desire to inspire young learners.
