Seeking a Chemistry Physics Biology Teacher for remote or online teaching from September 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality online lessons in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology to students across multiple key stages.
  • Develop and create engaging learning resources tailored for online delivery.
  • Support students with special educational needs and mental health challenges in a virtual setting.
  • Utilize a range of teaching techniques to maximize student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Apply assessment principles to monitor and guide student progress effectively.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation from students of all backgrounds.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Edtech tools and incorporate them into teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher status.
  • Experience teaching students in the secondary age range.
  • Proven ability to teach groups of students effectively.
  • Strong understanding of strategies to support students with SEND and mental health needs.
  • Experience with a range of teaching methods, including those suited to online learning.
  • Excellent diagnostic and assessment skills.
  • Ability to engage diverse student groups and promote inclusive learning.
  • Commitment to flipped learning and remote education.
  • Strong technical skills to use educational technology in teaching.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A level, and the ability to teach Physics and/or Biology.
  • Knowledge of Edexcel International GCSE or A-level CIE specifications.
  • Experience creating innovative online learning content.
  • Proven ability to use technology to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
