The Opportunity:

As Chief Operating Officer, you will lead the operational and financial success of a dynamic and forward-thinking institution. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the next phase of strategic development, including international expansion, while managing a diverse team and overseeing key functions such as finance, estates, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse team of support staff across multiple departments.
  • Oversee and implement strategic initiatives, including international expansion and financial planning.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the school’s finance, estates, catering, cleaning, and commercial activities.
  • Act as a commercial adviser to the Headmaster and Governors, supporting the school’s strategic goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including staff, parents, and external partners.
  • Drive continuous improvement in operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
  • Support the school’s mission and values through inclusive and empathetic leadership.

  • Proven executive leadership experience in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated success in commercial and financial management.
  • Strong strategic thinking and project management skills.
