Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational and strategic leadership across all aspects of school life.
- Build on the school's improvement journey with a clear commitment to academic and personal excellence for every pupil.
- Lead a strong Senior Leadership Team and highly committed staff body with integrity and relational skills.
- Plan strategically, ensuring effective financial and resource management.
- Support and grow a successful Sixth Form that contributes positively to the life and culture of the whole school.
- Ensure that safeguarding and child protection are central to all decision-making and school practice.
- Promote a Christian ethos and lead with faithfulness, courage, and patience in a secure and purposeful environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in leading a school with a strong Christian ethos.
- Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership and management experience, including experience of leading a Senior Leadership Team.
- Strategic planning and financial management skills.
- Experience in developing and supporting a successful Sixth Form.
Preferred
- Experience in teacher training or supporting early career teachers.
- A strong background in pastoral care and student welfare.
- Experience in leading school improvement initiatives.
- A deep understanding of the role of religion in education.
