The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Class Teacher to join our dedicated team on a short-term contract from September 2026 to August 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners within a nurturing and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of all pupils.
• Develop and implement effective teaching strategies that promote student achievement and personal growth.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and respect.
• Work closely with colleagues to support the school’s educational vision and values.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly to ensure continuous improvement.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Contribute to the planning and delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
• Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to inclusive education and supporting all learners.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

Preferred

• Experience in delivering differentiated instruction to meet individual learning needs.
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and teaching in a maintained school setting.
• Experience with special educational needs and/or inclusion strategies.
• Demonstrated success in raising student achievement and engagement.
