Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development of teaching and learning across the school
  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to improve educational outcomes for all pupils
  • Provide high-quality professional development for staff
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning
  • Promote a positive and inclusive school culture
  • Ensure the implementation of the school’s Christian values in all aspects of teaching and learning
  • Support the development of the curriculum and assessment strategies

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in teaching and leadership within a primary school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and equal opportunities
  • Ability to work effectively within a leadership team and school community
  • High standards of classroom practice and a clear moral purpose

Preferred

  • Experience in leading staff development or training
  • Leadership qualifications or experience in middle management
  • Experience with curriculum development and assessment
  • Familiarity with multi-academy trust structures and operations
  • Experience with supporting pupils with special educational needs
