Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a knowledge-rich curriculum that supports excellent progress and a passion for learning.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment that promotes exceptional behaviour and high expectations.
- Prioritise reading to help all pupils master basic skills and develop a love of learning.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance your teaching practice and mastery of your subject.
- Assess pupil knowledge regularly and provide targeted feedback and interventions to address learning gaps.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create and share resources that support effective teaching and learning.
- Support the school’s mission to encourage the diverse talents of students and foster all-round development.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge.
- Experience in teaching within a primary school setting.
- Commitment to high standards of behaviour and pupil safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Knowledge of effective assessment and intervention strategies.
- Experience in delivering a knowledge-rich and sequenced curriculum.
- Familiarity with the use of technology in the classroom.
- Experience in supporting student reading and literacy development.
