Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with curriculum requirements and support pupil progress.
- Monitor and assess pupil performance to ensure continuous improvement and set clear targets for development.
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and achievement.
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and focused classroom.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality teaching programs and support school initiatives.
- Participate in staff training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.
- Ensure the teaching area is well-organised, safe, and conducive to learning.
- Support and contribute to the wider school community through involvement in pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Graduate degree and qualified teacher status.
- Successful completion of initial teacher training.
- Proven academic track record with experience in primary education.
- Strong subject knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Preferred
- Experience working in a Catholic school environment.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and innovative teaching strategies.
- Experience with pastoral care and student well-being.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and embrace continuous improvement.
