Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire and motivate children.
  • Drive forward pupil progress and achievement through effective teaching and assessment.
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and curriculum expertise.
  • Implement effective behaviour for learning techniques to create a positive classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and take responsibility for individual and team development.
  • Maintain strong organisational skills and manage classroom resources efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Foster a positive, 'can-do' attitude and contribute to a supportive school community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge and curriculum expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Experience in behaviour management and classroom organisation.

Preferred

  • Experience in primary education.
  • Experience with Teaching English as a Second Language.
  • Experience working within an academy trust or multi-academy trust.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to school improvement initiatives.
