Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver safe, effective, and engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Assess and track pupil progress, ensuring individual needs are met through personalised learning programmes.
- Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils are actively involved in learning experiences.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and apply it effectively in the classroom.
- Engage in professional development and share knowledge with colleagues.
- Liaise with parents, colleagues, and external agencies to support student learning and wellbeing.
- Contribute to and implement school policies and initiatives.
- Manage pupil behaviour and foster a positive, respectful classroom environment.
- Take part in school development projects and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in primary education.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies.
- Commitment to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience in curriculum development or leadership roles.
- Familiarity with outdoor learning or enrichment activities.
- Experience with professional development and reflective practice.
- Knowledge of restorative approaches to behaviour management.
