Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Early Years curriculum, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Plan and assess pupil progress, tracking development and tailoring learning to meet individual needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support the social, emotional, and academic growth of children.
  • Contribute to school policies, initiatives, and events that enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Promote inclusion and ensure all pupils are actively involved in learning experiences.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, including reading, sharing knowledge, and accepting feedback.
  • Manage classroom behavior and promote positive values, including moral, social, and cultural understanding.
  • Participate in enrichment activities such as clubs and outdoor learning programs.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Early Years education
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Preferred

  • Experience with Forest School or outdoor learning
  • Knowledge of restorative practices and positive behavior management
  • Experience with curriculum development or instructional coaching
  • Familiarity with evidence-informed teaching methods
