Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative music lessons that meet GCSE standards and inspire student achievement.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that fosters creativity, performance, and musical appreciation.
- Support students in achieving outstanding results and personal growth through individual and group instruction.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s leadership and academic programmes.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of extracurricular music activities and events.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with current trends and developments in music education.
- Contribute to the school’s commitment to inclusivity and diversity in all aspects of teaching and learning.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status.
- Experience of teaching to GCSE standard.
- A proven track record of delivering outstanding attainment and achievement.
- Demonstrated ability to innovate and creatively engage learners.
Preferred
- Experience in a faith-based or inclusive educational setting.
- Experience with leadership and character development programmes.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for music and a commitment to student success.
