The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Teacher and Subject Lead to join our dedicated team. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to delivering high-quality education and leading by example. The successful candidate will have a strong impact on student learning and will play a key role in shaping the academic direction of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and values.
  • Lead and support other teachers in the development of KS2 teaching strategies and resources.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback and tailored support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and resources.
  • Work closely with the school’s leadership team to maintain and enhance academic standards.
  • Support students in preparing for 7+ entrance examinations.
  • Promote the school’s values of respect, kindness, and community through daily interactions.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in KS2 education.
  • Strong subject knowledge in core academic areas.
  • Experience in leading and mentoring other teachers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s values of respect, kindness, and community.

Preferred

  • Experience with the 7+ entrance examination process.
  • Background in curriculum development or leadership roles.
  • Familiarity with inclusive education practices.
  • Experience in a non-selective school setting.
