The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher KS2 to join our supportive and dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Support the school’s policies, aims, and ethos, promoting the social, emotional, and physical development of all children.
  • Communicate and consult with parents, providing guidance on pupil progress and wellbeing.
  • Participate in public examinations, assessments, and supervision of students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate curriculum areas and enhance teaching practices.
  • Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through a variety of learning opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s pastoral care and community engagement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Key Stage 2 education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and manage a classroom environment.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum across multiple subjects.
  • Experience in coordinating curriculum areas or leading professional development initiatives.
  • Familiarity with enterprise initiatives and real-world learning opportunities.
  • Background in supporting the development of future-ready skills in students.
