The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Class Teacher - Maternity Cover to join our supportive and inclusive school community for a fixed-term contract. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ lives while working within a vibrant and diverse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and assessments in line with school standards.

  • Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and global learning in students.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
  • Strong commitment to the school’s Christian ethos and inclusive values
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in teaching and classroom management
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching in a diverse, inclusive setting
  • Background in pastoral care or student support
  • Familiarity with global learning and critical thinking approaches
  • Experience in curriculum development or leadership within a school setting
