As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching staff and enhancing student learning. You will help plan, prepare, and deliver lessons, while also providing pastoral support to ensure every student's needs are met. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons for both whole-class and individual students.
  • Prepare and organize resources to support learning activities and lesson delivery.
  • Support students pastorally, ensuring their well-being and engagement in the learning process.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of student progress and provide feedback to class teachers.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment for all students.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required to support the teaching team.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Previous experience of supervising classes and assisting with lesson provision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team with teaching staff.
  • Commitment to student welfare and learning outcomes.

Preferred

  • A Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience in education.
  • Experience in a school setting, particularly with young children.
  • Knowledge of child development and learning strategies.
  • Experience with supporting students with diverse learning needs.
