Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons that drive student achievement and foster a love of learning.
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the school’s leadership and academic goals.
  • Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing targeted support to ensure all learners succeed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continuously improve teaching methods.
  • Support the school’s leadership programme by encouraging student participation in charitable and social initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment for all students.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress and school activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and career growth.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • A degree-level qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience of teaching to GCSE standard
  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding attainment and achievement
  • Demonstrated experience in raising pupil outcomes and inspiring a love of learning

Preferred

  • Experience of innovation and creativity in teaching and learning
  • Experience working in a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Commitment to leadership development and student character growth
