The Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our school premises. This role is essential in supporting a positive learning environment and upholding the high standards expected in a dynamic educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping designated areas.
• Sanitise and clean washrooms, restocking supplies as needed.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
• Report any damages or maintenance issues to management promptly.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols and COSHH regulations.
• Communicate professionally with students and staff.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and take pride in delivering a quality service.
• Support the school’s commitment to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• A conscientious and diligent work ethic.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Understanding of health and safety and COSHH regulations.
• Good communication skills with students and staff.
• Willingness to undertake training and work flexibly.
