The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Cleaner to join our Facilities Department and contribute to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires both teamwork and independent initiative to ensure high standards of hygiene across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the school
• Work collaboratively with the Facilities team to ensure consistent hygiene
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks in line with the school’s health and safety policies
• Follow procedures for the safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding and welfare policies where applicable
• Support the school’s commitment to wellbeing and a safe learning environment

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Experience in a cleaning or maintenance role
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Willingness to comply with safeguarding and child protection policies

Preferred

• Experience in an educational setting
• Familiarity with digital tools or technology
• Flexibility to work across different areas of the school
• Excellent communication skills
