The Opportunity:
As an Events Manager, you will play a key role in planning and delivering a wide range of internal and external events that support the school’s academic and pastoral programmes. This is a permanent part-time role with opportunities to contribute to community engagement and school-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and project manage all school events to a high standard, including Prize Giving, school productions, and alumni reunions.
- Design events that meet objectives, audience needs, and budget while reflecting the school’s brand and strategic positioning.
- Partner with the Admissions team to deliver key recruitment events, including open mornings and assessment days.
- Develop clear event plans and timelines, ensuring all stakeholders understand their responsibilities and that events are fully resourced.
- Oversee the school’s participation in relevant community events to enhance local visibility and engagement.
- Conduct post-event evaluations to assess impact and improve future experiences for parents, pupils, and visitors.
- Work with the Marketing team to ensure event communications and promotional materials are brand-consistent and effective.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer service throughout event delivery.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in active listening and responding to instructions appropriately.
- Ability to carry out all tasks within the role’s remit.
Preferred
- Experience in event management or a related field.
- Familiarity with marketing and admissions processes.
- Experience in managing community or alumni events.
Compensation & Benefits:
