The Opportunity:

We are seeking an Estates Assistant to join our team and support the Operations Manager in delivering essential maintenance and general duties across the school site. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, self-motivated, and eager to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Operations Manager with a wide range of maintenance tasks across the school site.
  • Assist with event setup and facilitation, ensuring smooth operations during school events.
  • Perform general duties as required by the team and Operations Manager.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized environment throughout the school.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and students to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Basic understanding of maintenance and general duties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a similar role or within an educational setting.
  • Experience with event management or organization.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with child protection screening and safeguarding procedures.
