The Opportunity:
As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness across multiple sites. This is a pivotal role in supporting the school's mission to create a positive learning environment for students and staff alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise a team of cleaners to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards.
- Implement and monitor cleaning schedules and procedures across multiple locations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance and cleaning issues promptly.
- Provide training and support to the cleaning team to improve performance and morale.
- Monitor and report on cleaning performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Liaise with contractors and external service providers as needed.
- Ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are properly maintained and stocked.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a Cleaning Supervisor or similar leadership role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
- Experience working within a school or educational setting.
- Familiarity with flexible working arrangements and hybrid models.
- Experience in managing and developing a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Understanding of the importance of cleanliness in educational environments.
