Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the cleaning team to ensure all areas of the school meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Plan and monitor cleaning schedules using IT systems for rota planning and reporting.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Address any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly and effectively.
• Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives within the school.
• Provide guidance and training to cleaning staff where necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to facility management.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to cleaning activities and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within cleaning or facilities management.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Proficiency in using IT systems for rota planning and reporting.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning.

Preferred

• Experience in an educational or institutional setting.
• Previous experience with large-scale cleaning operations.
• Understanding of sustainability practices and green cleaning initiatives.
