The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across the school. This role is essential in supporting the school’s mission to provide an outstanding educational experience for students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the cleaning team to ensure all areas of the school meet the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Plan and monitor cleaning schedules using IT systems for rota planning and reporting.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Address any maintenance or hygiene issues promptly and effectively.
- Support the implementation of sustainability initiatives within the school.
- Provide guidance and training to cleaning staff where necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to facility management.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to cleaning activities and performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within cleaning or facilities management.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for rota planning and reporting.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in cleaning.
Preferred
- Experience in an educational or institutional setting.
- Previous experience with large-scale cleaning operations.
- Understanding of sustainability practices and green cleaning initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
