Coach Driver or Trainee Coach Driver needed for a school in Wakefield or Brigg.

The Opportunity:
As a Coach Driver or Trainee Coach Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students between academies and outdoor education centres across the UK. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and outdoor learning, and who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and comfortably transport students to and from academies and outdoor education centres.
- Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
- Work closely with academy staff and outdoor centre managers to coordinate trips.
- Manage day-to-day transport issues using your own initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service and a positive experience for students.
- Assist in the training and development of trainee drivers where applicable.
- Travel to various locations across the UK as required, including scenic rural routes.
- Adhere to all company policies, including health and safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A full Category D PCV license (for qualified drivers) or willingness to obtain it (for trainees).
- A valid driving license and ability to pass a medical assessment.
- Experience in driving or a willingness to complete training to become a qualified coach driver.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A reliable, proactive, and organised approach to work.
- Flexibility to work weekends and travel to different locations as required.
Preferred
- Experience in a transport or education setting.
- Previous experience with outdoor education or student transport.
- A Driver CPC qualification.
- A background in customer service or hospitality.
