The Opportunity:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, welcoming environment across the school. You will lead site staff, manage health and safety protocols, and ensure the security of the academy’s premises. This is a key role in supporting the school’s mission and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate site staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Oversee and maintain the health and safety system across the academy
  • Ensure all maintenance schedules and tests are completed and recorded efficiently
  • Maintain the security of the academy premises, including key holder responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with all staff, students, and visitors
  • Work flexible hours to support the academy’s operational needs
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the school environment meets high standards
  • Ensure all facilities are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for all users

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Proven experience in site management or a similar role
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late evenings
  • Experience in managing and supervising staff
  • Commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment

Preferred

  • Experience in the education sector
  • Familiarity with school operations and facilities management
  • Previous experience in a multi-academy trust or similar organisation
  • Understanding of the needs of students and staff in a school environment
  • Experience with key holder responsibilities and security systems
