The Opportunity:

As a Combined Cadet Force Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the character and leadership skills of young people. You will be responsible for managing the CCF program, ensuring it meets the highest standards of safety, discipline, and development. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the Westminster database, security clearances, and recruitment processes.
• Oversee the MOD loan stores, grants, and the CCF budget to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
• Draft comprehensive risk assessments and ensure all drills and exercises are secure and compliant.
• Maintain the unit to the highest standards for Biennial and Security inspections.
• Champion student welfare and safeguarding with a balanced approach that is both supportive and firm.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Serving Combined Cadet Force Adult Volunteer (CFAV) with a strong understanding of CCF ethos and operations.
• Proficient in MS Office and the Westminster system.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including during camps and unsociable times.
• Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare.

Preferred

• First Aid, SAAI, Adventure Training qualifications, or a D1 Minibus license.
• Experience in risk assessment and event management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
