The Opportunity:
As a Communications Manager, you will lead the school’s marketing and communications strategy, enhance digital presence, and drive community engagement. This role is central to promoting the school’s values and supporting the administration team in delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the school’s external and internal communications strategy.
- Oversee brand management and ensure consistent representation of the school’s identity.
- Enhance the school’s digital presence through effective use of social media, website, and other platforms.
- Lead and support the administration team in delivering high-quality customer service.
- Coordinate and manage reprographics services across the school.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the main reception area and support functions.
- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication with staff, students, parents, and visitors.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in IT and digital tools.
- Experience in managing a team and providing leadership.
- Commitment to maintaining a professional and positive school brand.
- Ability to work flexibly within a term-time working pattern.
Preferred
- Experience in marketing or communications within an educational setting.
- Familiarity with reprographics and administrative support functions.
- Knowledge of school operations and student engagement strategies.
- Experience with brand management and digital marketing.
