Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science and Maths lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Develop and implement an ambitious and intellectually rigorous curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school and within the Nishkam School Trust.
- Support the school’s virtues-led approach to education, promoting compassion, humility, and service.
- Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to support learning.
- Participate in a bespoke programme of professional development tailored to the successful candidate’s career stage.
- Contribute to the school’s ethos and culture, ensuring a positive impact on student outcomes.
- Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, lifelong learning, and academic excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with relevant experience in Computer Science and Maths.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lessons.
- Commitment to a virtues-led approach to education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working within a multi-faith and inclusive environment.
Preferred
- Experience in teaching within a multi-academy trust or similar educational setting.
- Experience with curriculum development and innovation.
- Knowledge of teaching English as a Second Language.
- Experience in leading or contributing to professional development initiatives.
