Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver an engaging and challenging Science curriculum to students of all abilities.
- Foster a classroom environment grounded in a virtues-led approach, promoting curiosity, compassion, and service.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the school and Trust to enhance teaching and learning.
- Support the continued development of the school’s distinctive pedagogy and curriculum.
- Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to support student achievement.
- Uphold and contribute to the school’s ethos, culture, and mission.
- Participate in a bespoke programme of professional development tailored to the candidate’s career stage.
- Ensure excellent outcomes for students through high-quality teaching and assessment.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
- Commitment to a virtues-led, multi-faith approach to teaching and learning.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Experience in delivering a high-quality, challenging curriculum.
Preferred
- Experience in a high-performing school or academy.
- Background in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and leadership.
- Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
- Familiarity with Ofsted Outstanding-rated schools.
