Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver an engaging and challenging Science curriculum to students of all abilities.
  • Foster a classroom environment grounded in a virtues-led approach, promoting curiosity, compassion, and service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the school and Trust to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Support the continued development of the school’s distinctive pedagogy and curriculum.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to support student achievement.
  • Uphold and contribute to the school’s ethos, culture, and mission.
  • Participate in a bespoke programme of professional development tailored to the candidate’s career stage.
  • Ensure excellent outcomes for students through high-quality teaching and assessment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Science education.
  • Commitment to a virtues-led, multi-faith approach to teaching and learning.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Experience in delivering a high-quality, challenging curriculum.

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-performing school or academy.
  • Background in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and leadership.
  • Experience with innovative teaching methods and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Ofsted Outstanding-rated schools.
