Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the Computer Science curriculum to ensure high standards and continuous improvement.
- Line manage and support teaching staff, fostering a collaborative and professional environment.
- Drive outstanding teaching and learning by implementing best practices and innovative approaches.
- Monitor student progress and achievement, ensuring all students reach their full potential.
- Promote innovation and share best practice across the department and college.
- Contribute to whole-college improvement initiatives, supporting the school's mission and goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- A relevant degree and PGCE with QTS/QTLS.
- Proven experience as a passionate and inspiring Computer Science teacher.
- A strong track record of delivering excellent A-Level results.
- Demonstrated ability as an outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Experience in leading, motivating, and developing colleagues.
- High expectations and a commitment to student success.
Preferred
- Experience with subject-specific training and leadership pathways.
- Familiarity with AQA A-Level Computer Science curriculum.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in driving curriculum innovation and improvement.
