The Opportunity:

As a Lead Inclusion and Personalised Pathways Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a newly developed inclusive support base. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop innovative, personalised pathways that support students with complex barriers to learning and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic development and day-to-day operation of the inclusive support base
  • Develop and implement inclusive approaches that promote student engagement, reintegration and belonging
  • Coordinate and quality assure external alternative provision placements where appropriate
  • Oversee the design and delivery of adaptive curriculum pathways and personalised support strategies
  • Lead and support staff working within the support base
  • Work collaboratively with families, external agencies and wider school teams
  • Promote high expectations, relational practice and inclusive support across the school
  • Monitor attendance, behaviour, safeguarding and student progress to evaluate impact

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Strong understanding of SEMH and inclusive practice
  • Experience supporting students experiencing barriers to mainstream education
  • Experience leading or coordinating personalised pathways, interventions or support systems
  • Excellent relational, communication and leadership skills

Preferred

  • Experience in leading or managing educational teams
  • A passionate and values-driven leader committed to improving outcomes for vulnerable young people
  • Experience working in alternative provision or specialist support settings
