Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, inspiring lessons in Computer Science that challenge and engage students.
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Use data and assessments to monitor and support student progress.
• Participate in professional development and curriculum action groups.
• Support the organisation and delivery of school events and extra-curricular activities.
• Ensure that teaching practices align with the school’s values and learning principles.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to inclusive and student-centered learning.

Preferred

• Experience teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
• Experience with curriculum planning and assessment tools.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
