The Opportunity:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Computer Science Teacher to join a dynamic and ambitious department. This role offers the opportunity to inspire students and contribute to their academic success. The position may also be suitable for a Lead Teacher with relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Support students in achieving outstanding academic outcomes at A Level.
  • Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Participate in professional development and CPD opportunities.
  • Contribute to the school’s co-curricular and enrichment activities.
  • Monitor and assess student progress effectively.
  • Engage in safeguarding and welfare responsibilities.
  • Support the school’s mission to raise attainment across the local community.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science.
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to academic excellence and student achievement.
  • Willingness to undergo child protection screening.

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching A Level Computer Science.
  • Leadership experience, including Lead Teacher responsibilities.
  • Experience with cross-school collaboration and shared teaching initiatives.
  • Background in working with diverse student populations.
