Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons across all key stages, following the OCR and national curriculum specifications.
• Set clear learning targets and provide regular feedback to support student progress and achievement.
• Contribute to the development of schemes of work and maintain a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage students to develop practical programming skills and apply computational thinking to real-world problems.
• Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.
• Participate in professional development, school duties, and performance management activities.
• Stay up-to-date with current educational thinking and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lesson planning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

• Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science education.
• Ability to teach across KS3, KS4, and KS5 following the OCR specification and national curriculum.
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons that challenge and inspire students.
• Commitment to student success and a track record of helping students achieve top grades.

Preferred

• Experience in teaching programming, computational thinking, and real-world applications such as cybersecurity and AI.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to departmental and whole-school improvement.
• Passion for developing students’ potential and a commitment to inclusive education.
