Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance departmental practices and student outcomes.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular and constructive feedback.

  • Work closely with the school’s leadership team to ensure alignment with the school’s vision and values.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant teaching qualification (e.g., QTS, PGCE).
  • Experience in teaching Physical Education at the secondary level.
  • Commitment to student welfare and the promotion of healthy lifestyles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred

  • Experience in developing and delivering PE curricula.
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching practices and differentiated instruction.
  • Experience with safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • Familiarity with National Curriculum requirements for PE.
  • Experience with sport or extracurricular activities.
