The Opportunity:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and independent learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an innovative and challenging curriculum.
  • Support the delivery of games and physical education, contributing to the school’s holistic approach to education.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help students reach their full potential.
  • Engage with parents and the wider school community to support student development and achievement.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and school events as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with a relevant degree and teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 in a primary school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to student welfare and personal development.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take initiative where needed.

Preferred

  • Experience in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum.
  • Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technology in education.
  • Experience with outdoor learning or co-curricular activities.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin or Performing Arts is advantageous.
