Computer Science Teacher with Business Studies – Full Time – Permanent – Starting September 2026

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Computer Science and Business Studies lessons across key stages, ensuring students make excellent progress and are suitably challenged
- Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the curriculum, allowing students to reach their academic and creative potential
- Promote student achievement through regular assessment, feedback, and differentiated teaching strategies
- Contribute to the weekly extracurricular programme, engaging students in meaningful learning experiences
- Work collaboratively with the Head of Computing and Business Studies to develop departmental strategies and initiatives
- Support the school’s mission by fostering an inclusive and aspirational learning environment
- Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider school community
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all students
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in Computer Science and Business Studies
- Confidence in teaching Computer Science across all key stages, with some Business Studies at KS4
- Ability to deliver high-quality teaching that ensures student progress and achievement
- Strong planning and lesson design skills aligned to the curriculum
- Commitment to promoting student achievement through assessment and feedback
- Experience in creating inclusive and engaging learning environments
Preferred
- Experience with teaching Business Studies at KS4
- Experience in leading or contributing to departmental development
- Experience with extracurricular programme delivery
- Experience with CPD and professional development initiatives
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in Computer Science education
