Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging Computing lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Support students of all abilities, ensuring inclusive and differentiated teaching practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across the curriculum.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in Computing and ICT.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s Computing department.
  • Promote a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities and school-wide initiatives.
  • Provide pastoral support and mentorship to students where appropriate.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with relevant subject knowledge in Computing or ICT.
  • Experience teaching Computing at the secondary level.
  • Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learners.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Preferred

  • Experience with teaching programming or digital literacy.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools.
  • Background in educational research or evidence-informed practice.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs.
