Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality computing lessons to students across Years 1 to 5.
- Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s mission to inspire and nurture future-ready learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Support students’ educational development and safeguarding in line with school policies.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in computing education.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Qualified teacher with experience in computing education.
- Strong knowledge of computing and technology curriculum for primary school students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to the school’s core teaching philosophy: Nurture – Engage – Inspire.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Preferred
- Experience teaching younger children (Years 1 to 5).
- Familiarity with coding and digital literacy tools.
- Experience with cross-curricular teaching and project-based learning.
