Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality computing lessons to students across Years 1 to 5.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the school’s mission to inspire and nurture future-ready learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Support students’ educational development and safeguarding in line with school policies.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in computing education.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Qualified teacher with experience in computing education.
  • Strong knowledge of computing and technology curriculum for primary school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to the school’s core teaching philosophy: Nurture – Engage – Inspire.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred

  • Experience teaching younger children (Years 1 to 5).
  • Familiarity with coding and digital literacy tools.
