The Opportunity:

As a Construction Lecturer, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant teaching to students up to Level 3, including involvement in T Level Construction. This role is ideal for someone passionate about education and committed to making a real impact in the lives of learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Construction and Built Environment programmes up to Level 3 using effective teaching strategies
  • Plan and deliver lessons that meet learning outcomes and support diverse learners
  • Promote active participation through practical activities and collaborative learning
  • Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing delivery of T Level Construction
  • Mark and assess student work fairly and consistently
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support learner progress
  • Support learners through tutorial guidance and liaison with parents/carers
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive and enthusiastic team

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Degree or Level 3 professional qualification in Construction
  • Relevant industry experience in Construction and Built Environment
  • Strong communication, organisation, and IT skills
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, safeguarding, health & safety, and data protection

Preferred

  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one
  • A1 Assessor and/or Internal Verifier awards
