Key Responsibilities:
- Support tutors in workshops and classrooms by preparing materials and resources.
- Ensure all learning environments are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Assist in the management and organisation of workshop tools and equipment.
- Help students develop practical skills through hands-on guidance and supervision.
- Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment used in the workshop.
- Collaborate with other staff members to improve the learning experience for students.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of the workshop.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required
- Knowledge of construction trade and practical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work effectively in a team and support others.
Preferred
- Experience in a teaching or training environment.
- Previous experience in construction or related field.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Experience with health and safety regulations in a workshop setting.
