Key Responsibilities:

  • Support tutors in workshops and classrooms by preparing materials and resources.
  • Ensure all learning environments are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
  • Assist in the management and organisation of workshop tools and equipment.
  • Help students develop practical skills through hands-on guidance and supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment used in the workshop.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to improve the learning experience for students.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all areas of the workshop.

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Knowledge of construction trade and practical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., using Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and support others.

Preferred

  • Experience in a teaching or training environment.
  • Previous experience in construction or related field.
