Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson content across a range of subjects with confidence and enthusiasm
  • Manage student behaviour effectively and maintain high expectations in the classroom
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with students to enhance engagement and learning
  • Provide general support to teaching staff and assist with student learning when not covering lessons
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and continuity in teaching
  • Reflect on practice and commit to continuous professional development
  • Maintain a calm, organised approach in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Uphold the school's values and vision through all interactions and teaching practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Required

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong presence in the classroom
  • Experience in delivering lessons across a range of subjects
  • Ability to manage behaviour positively and maintain high expectations
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice

Preferred

  • Experience in teaching or supporting student learning in a secondary school setting
